Work is to be undertaken during COVID-19 Alert 3 whilst traffic volumes are lower. Work is scheduled from 8pm Thursday 30 September continuously through to 5am Tuesday 5 October.
What are we doing?
We are removing the old SH1 Rosedale Road Motorway bridge abutments as part of the bridge replacement works.
What this means for you
Rosedale Road will be closed between Tawa Drive and Triton Drive from 8pm Thursday 30 September continuously through to 5am Tuesday 5 October. A detour route (map attached below) will be in place for vehicles, please plan your journey and allow extra time.
Access for those on foot and bike will remain open on one side of the road whilst work is carried out.
For those travelling on bus route No. 884, bus stop 4250 located outside No. 121 Rosedale Road will be closed. Bus stops at 19 Triton Drive (4145) and on Rosedale Road opposite Henry Rose Place (4240) will remain open.
All construction areas will be separated from the public. Please discuss our work with family and friends to ensure social distancing is maintained for the safety of our crews and your family.
