It was a dark and stormy night… Later at the PADI rescue dive course, It was a challenge to come to terms with how dangerous my new hobby really is, literally going to an environment where you can’t breathe the local atmosphere is a reality check.
The training from Auckland Scuba made me feel confident that I know what to do in case the unthinkable happened to me or my buddy’s, we covered drills like panic divers, tired divers and unconscious divers both above and below the surface.
In my short experience when things have gone wrong, stop, think, and act has really helped me out. Thanks to my instructors at Auckland Scuba who have trained me to be a safe, calm and confident diver. This course really was a great eye opener that things can go wrong but when you have the right training, you can deal with it.
